Allison Lawn Service

About Allison Lawn Service

There is nothing in East Texas quite like the smell of cut grass on a June evening, when the ballfields over at Morris Frank Park are lit and the air finally turns loose of the heat. Allison Lawn Service spends the day making that smell — mowing on a set line, edging the concrete, trimming the bases of the trees where the blades cannot go. Beds get their weeds pulled before they set seed, and the walk gets blown clean so the last thing you see is a tidy front. Lufkin yards ask for that steadiness from early spring straight through the fall, and a schedule kept is half the craft. The rest is refusing to call it finished while a stray blade is still lying on the driveway.
