About SuperDave'S Lawns and More

Winter on the South Plains turns the bermuda a pale wheat gold and leaves the mesquite standing in bare gray sculpture, and the yards go quiet without going unattended. SuperDave'S Lawns and More works that off-season the way it works April — clearing the leaf drift piled against the fence, cutting back what has gone ragged, keeping walks and drives tidy. When the turf wakes, mowing resumes, with trimming and edging on the same round. Cold mornings here are clear all the way to the horizon, and a yard that looks cared for in February is its own small satisfaction. Come green-up, it starts the year ahead instead of behind.
