South Plains Turf

About South Plains Turf

At sunrise on the South Plains the land around Lubbock lies so flat that first light seems to land everywhere at once, gilding cotton rows and rooftops in the same instant. Morning is a kind hour for a mower out here, before the summer sun hardens and the heat climbs. South Plains Turf is all about the surface: an even cut, clean lines along the curb, trimmed corners and swept walks. Grass in this dry country rewards consistent attention, and it shows in a lawn that looks the same from one week to the next. By the time the afternoon glare arrives, a yard cared for this way is ready to meet it.
