Rangel's Lawn Service

About Rangel's Lawn Service

By October the fields east of town go white, module trucks run all night, and stray lint catches on fence wire the whole way into Lubbock. Rangel's Lawn Service works the season down with it — mowing while the grass still asks for it, then trimming, edging, and hauling the leaves out before the first hard freeze turns everything gold. Down where Mackenzie Park follows the low crease of the river, late light lays across mown stripes and turns them copper. The visit ends with beds free of drift and the walks left bare. Ordinary work, done on the day it was promised, is most of what a yard actually needs.
