About Mission Service Companies

Dawn on the Llano Estacado arrives with nothing to slow it down — one red line along the edge of the world, then the whole table of land lit at once. Mission Service Companies is out in that first hour, mowing Lubbock yards while the air still holds its night cool and sprinklers tick off down the block. The work is plain and it is exact: a full cut, string-trimmed fence lines, edges taken clean along the walk, clippings blown back off the concrete. By the time the heat stands up at noon, the lawns behind them look combed. They keep the same rounds out through Wolfforth and Shallowater, week after week, so a yard never has to be rescued — only kept.
