Lush Lawn and Landscaping

About Lush Lawn and Landscaping

An August evening on the caprock: thunderheads pile up gold and purple over the west side of Lubbock, the first fat drops hit hot concrete, and the whole town suddenly smells like wet dust and cut grass. Lush Lawn and Landscaping chases the green window that follows — those two or three weeks after real rain when everything out here grows twice as fast and a lawn needs cutting sooner than you expect. Mowing, edging, trimming and landscape upkeep keep that surge from becoming a jungle by the mailbox. Lush is a bold word to choose in country this dry, which is exactly why the work is worth doing. When it lands, a yard in this town can be genuinely, improbably green.
