John's Yard Care

About John's Yard Care

A route has a rhythm to it. Tuesday means the same streets in the same order, the same gates and the same mailbox hedge, and after a while John's Yard Care knows which yard grows fast in the shade and which one burns first when Lubbock goes three weeks without rain. Mowing, edging, hedge and string trimming, then the walks blown clear — the list is short and it happens the same way every time. Regularity is what a lawn actually wants in this climate, because then it never gets far enough ahead to look forgotten. Come back next week and do it again; that is the whole trade, and it makes a street look like people live there.
