The Lawn Caregivers

About The Lawn Caregivers

Some yards belong to people who used to mow them and would rather not talk about it. The Lawn Caregivers keeps those lawns on a rhythm the owner never has to think about: the mower arrives, the grass comes down even, the trimmer clears the fence line and the base of the mailbox, the sidewalk edge is recut, and the last of the clippings gets blown off the drive before the trailer gate goes up. In the older Lubbock neighborhoods, where lots run deep and the crepe myrtles have had time to fill out, that steadiness is most of the job. Nobody has to call — the day comes around and the yard is handled. A tended lawn turns out to be a small weekly kindness to an entire street.
