About Leyenda Landscaping

On the South Plains around Lorenzo, autumn turns the cotton fields white from one rim of the sky to the other, and the harvest raises a fine dust that hangs gold in the late light. In country this flat and open, where the wind can lift topsoil and carry it for miles, a green lawn in town feels like a story told against the odds, which suits a business named Leyenda, Spanish for legend. Leyenda Landscaping mows, trims and tends beds in Lorenzo so each yard keeps its color and its edges under the Crosby County sun. Through the spring dust and the long dry summers, that patch of green is a small act of stubborn care. Out where the horizon never ends, it is the kind of legend worth telling.
