About All green landscaping

South of Waco the land flattens into black prairie soil, and Lorena sits in the middle of it with the interstate humming a mile off. All green landscaping mows and edges yards through the long Central Texas summer, when the heat sets in around Memorial Day and does not let go. That soil grows grass hard and then cracks when it dries, so the cut is kept a touch high to hold moisture down at the roots. Trimming follows the fence lines and mailbox posts, and the cut grass gets pushed back into the turf instead of down the storm drain. It is steady work on a steady schedule, and the yards show it.
