Vickery Lawn Service, Land Clearing, and Stump Grinding

About Vickery Lawn Service, Land Clearing, and Stump Grinding

Yaupon and sweetgum will take a Polk County acre back in a couple of unattended years — it begins at the fence line and works its way inward. Vickery Lawn Service, Land Clearing, and Stump Grinding turns that around: clearing brush and undergrowth, grinding stumps down below where a blade would ever find them, then keeping the reclaimed ground mowed and trimmed so it stays open. Down in the Trinity bottomland the ground goes soft and the roots run wide, which changes entirely how a stump has to come out. There is a particular satisfaction in walking a place at the end of a long day and seeing sky where there was thicket, and grass where there was a stump. After that it is simply a lawn — and a lawn can be kept.
