About D and C Lawn Service

Late in the afternoon along Long King Creek the light comes sideways through the pines, and every ridge and dip in a lawn shows itself. D and C Lawn Service reads yards in that light — where the mower ought to turn, where the trimmer has to follow a slope, which edge wants a hard line and which is better left soft. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, done in the order that leaves nothing behind but the smell of cut grass. Livingston heat makes it honest labor from April clear through October, and there is no shortcut around that. Loading the trailer at dusk with the yard behind you looking cared for is its own kind of pay.
