About ABC Home & Commercial Services

Downtown Livingston wakes early — the courthouse square catching first light while the storefronts along Church Street are still shuttered. ABC Home & Commercial Services works that hour, mowing and trimming for houses on the side streets and for the businesses that open at eight. A lawn kept on a schedule reads differently from one cut whenever somebody remembers: the color is even, the edges hold, the walk is clear of clippings. Polk County summers ask a great deal of grass and of the people who tend it, and the answer is simply showing up on the day you said you would. By evening the square end of town is green and level, and nobody has to think about it at all.
