Santa Rita Ranch

About Santa Rita Ranch

Up on the ranch hills the sky takes most of the view, and the mown ground rolls away in long green shapes toward Georgetown. Santa Rita Ranch keeps lawn care running across that open country — mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, at the scale hilltop lots and wide medians ask for. Wind moves constantly up there and the light shifts all afternoon, so a fresh-cut lawn keeps changing color as the clouds go over. Cut grass is cleared off paths and drives instead of being tracked back inside. Big sky over a mown lawn is a Liberty Hill picture, and it is worth keeping tidy.
