About MMA LANSCAPING LLC

The ground here is blackland clay — sticky when it rains, hard as fired brick by August — and it decides what a yard is able to become. Working with it means grading before sod ever goes down, setting the ground so water runs where it should, then giving new turf the attention it needs to knit in. After that comes the ordinary keeping: mowing, edging, trimming, bed lines cut and mulched, cleanups when the season turns over. On the flat country toward the Coppell side, a well-graded lawn stays green longer and drains instead of puddling at the low corner. Making something out of that stubborn soil and watching it take hold is a satisfying trade.
