About Barrett's Lawn Service

Old Town wakes early on a Saturday — brick streets damp from the hose, awnings cranked out, folks carrying tomatoes back to their trucks. The houses in those blocks sit older and closer together, which makes tidy work matter more, not less: mowing that respects the fence lines, trimming around porch piers and tree rings, edging that keeps a sidewalk reading as a sidewalk. Leaves get gathered when the fall finally turns, beds get cleared in the spring, and hedges get held to a shape the porch can see past. It is unglamorous and weekly, and it adds up — a street where every yard has been kept is a street people slow down in. That is worth the early start.
