About Billo Goat Lawn and Design

The first real cool front of October reaches Leon Valley in the afternoon, the wind swings around to the north, and all at once you want to be outside in your own yard again. Billo Goat Lawn and Design builds toward that — beds laid out with limestone borders, plantings picked for hill-country heat, brush and volunteer Ashe juniper cut back off the fence line. Regular mowing, edging and trimming keep the whole thing legible in between. There is genuine pleasure in a layout that reads as intentional from the street and easy up close. By spring the beds hold their shape while everything untended around them is trying to sprawl.
