About Rayford Landscaping

Lefors has oil-patch roots in Gray County, and the country around it still runs out to long Panhandle horizons, broken by the bends of the North Fork of the Red River. Rayford Landscaping brings shape and color to yards in a place with a wind that has strong opinions about where grass will thicken and where dust will drift. Spring can swing from a dry gale to a sudden thunderstorm in a single afternoon, so a landscape here needs to be anchored, with lawn, beds and plantings that hold together. On an autumn evening, as the fields glow and long skeins of geese cross the sky, a well-landscaped yard reads as a small, defiant patch of green in very big country. That contrast is the whole joy of the work.
