About MK Stone and Landscaping

The rock under these hills is the same pale stone the older buildings around here were cut from, and it still makes the best walls in the county. MK Stone and Landscaping works in the flat glare of midday, setting dry-stack borders and flagstone by hand, fitting each piece until the joint disappears and the run of the wall follows the fall of the ground. Around that stonework go planting beds, gravel paths, mulch, and mowing and edging to keep the whole yard reading as one piece. Stone does not forgive a rushed course — it settles, it shifts, it tells on you — so it gets set slowly and once. Built for properties in Leander, Georgetown and Liberty Hill.
