Turf Gecko

About Turf Gecko

At dusk the geckos come out on the warm stucco, the heat finally lifts off the grass, and that is when a Laredo lawn does most of its living. Turf Gecko is in the turf business first: mowing at the right height for the season, edging clean along drive and walk, trimming what a mower cannot reach, and treating the weeds that try to move into the thin spots. St. Augustine wants one thing and Bermuda wants another, and a yard reads better when somebody knows the difference. Clippings come off the hard surfaces at the end, so the finish shows as plainly as the cut. Green, even and sharply bordered — that is the whole ambition, and it is a good one.
