About Spraggins Lawnscaping

Each spring in Lakeport, the loblolly pines let loose so much pollen that cars, porches and puddles turn yellow overnight, and a good rain leaves gold lines along the roadside ditches. That is East Texas announcing the growing season, and Spraggins Lawnscaping answers with mowing and yard work for this small Gregg County city. Here in the Piney Woods, grass competes with shade, fallen needles and the sweetgum seedlings that sprout wherever they can. A lawn kept cut and tidy shines bright against the dark green wall of the pines. In the humid haze of a May morning, the clean stripes of a fresh mow look like a handshake from the yard to the street.
