Anderson's Landscape & Maintenance

About Anderson's Landscape & Maintenance

Morning arrives in Lakehills off the water first — a pale silver on Medina Lake before the hills behind it have decided on a color. Anderson's Landscape & Maintenance is out working in that hour, mowing while the grass still holds dew and the cedar air is cool enough to move in. A yard here is carved out of hill country, limestone underfoot and oak on three sides, so the real pleasure is the line where mown turf meets the wild edge, held honest and clean. They mow, edge, string-trim the fence rows and the mailbox post, shape the hedges, and carry the clippings off so nothing is left to brown in the sun. By the time the boats are out, the place looks like somebody loves it.
