Oliva's Lawn Services

About Oliva's Lawn Services

October is the coast's second spring — the first cool front slides down over the marshes toward the San Bernard, the humidity finally breaks, and the grass puts on one more flush of green before the short winter. Oliva's Lawn Services works Lake Jackson through that finest stretch of the year, mowing in shirtsleeve mornings when the light comes in low and gold across the front yards. Fall cuts are unhurried, the growth slower, the borders holding their line for longer. It is the season when a well-kept lawn finally looks the way its owner has been imagining since July. Then the leaves start down, and the blowers get their turn.
