About Landscaping By Marji

Spring shows up here in azalea color first — hot pink and white against dark leaves, out along the shaded walks near Dow Park — and everything else in a yard has to live up to that for a few weeks. Landscaping By Marji tends Lake Jackson lawns with an eye for how the grass meets everything else: the bed line, the tree ring, the place where turf gives way to mulch. A mowed lawn is only half finished until those borders are cut in and the stray runners pulled back by hand. It is slower work, and it is what makes a modest yard look composed rather than merely cut. On a bright March morning, mowing done and borders crisp, a front yard can be genuinely lovely.
