Barker's Best Lawn Care

About Barker's Best Lawn Care

The town takes its name from a bend of old river water that never went anywhere, and on August mornings the mist sits on it until the sun climbs over the treeline. Barker's Best Lawn Care starts its Lake Jackson routes in that first grey hour, while the grass is still heavy with dew and the air has not yet turned to steam. Grass cut early holds its color better through the long bright middle of the day. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass across a front yard — the stripe laid down straight, the walk edged, the driveway swept back to bare concrete. By the time the neighborhood is fully awake the work is behind it, and the yard simply looks like it has always been that way.
