About JDTexco

Lago Vista keeps its own airport, and on a still July noon the drone of a small plane lifting off the runway at Rusty Allen carries over rooftops and hilltops alike. From up there, the town must read as a quilt of green lots stitched between steep hills and the long blue arms of Lake Travis. JDTexco works at ground level on that quilt, mowing lawns so each square holds its color and its line. In the full blaze of a Hill Country summer, a cut set at the right height leaves the grass enough leaf to shade its own roots. It is the kind of yard a pilot might notice on final approach, a patch of town that simply looks right.
