Earthwise Organics

About Earthwise Organics

In winter the coastal prairie around La Ward fills with geese, their long ragged lines crossing a gray January sky above the rice stubble. La Ward sits along State Highway 172 in Jackson County, a short drive from the bays, where Gulf air keeps winters mild and summers long and heavy. Earthwise Organics serves lawns here, and the name points back to the earth beneath every yard. Lawn care in this flat, wet country means reading heavy ground and heavier rain, and knowing how water lies after a Gulf storm passes through. Come spring, when the prairie greens and the geese head north, a well-tended La Ward lawn is ready to grow thick and full.
