Navarro's Landscaping and Concrete

About Navarro's Landscaping and Concrete

Concrete and growing ground make a natural pair in La Presa, where the sun bears down most of the year and a yard needs something solid alongside something green. The town's name is Spanish for the dam, a word about holding water in dry country, and that instinct to hold and shape runs through landscaping here. Navarro's Landscaping and Concrete brings both trades to the work, landscaping and lawn care alongside concrete, so the hard surfaces and the planted ones meet cleanly. Mesquite shade, caliche ground and long dry spells all shape what can grow, and the craft lies in fitting a yard to them. A fresh concrete edge beside a newly mowed lawn, level and clean in the low evening light, is the kind of finish worth stopping to admire.
