About Chuy's Nursery and Landscaping

A spring rain here blows in off the water and leaves the ground soft for a day or two, which is the one window that matters for putting something in the dirt. Chuy's Nursery and Landscaping works that window along Highway 3 — setting shrubs and small trees, prepping beds, spreading mulch while the soil still gives under a shovel. Crepe myrtles go in bare and leggy in March and come back in July looking like they were always meant to stand there. Mowing and edging keep the lawn side tidy between plantings, and seasonal color goes in where a front walk needs something to say hello with. A landscape is mostly patience, planted early and given room to become itself.
