About Ray & Sons landscaping

Nothing in Kyle announces the end of the workday like the grackles — thousands of them wheeling up over the rooftops and settling into the parking lot trees, arguing about it the whole time. Ray & Sons landscaping is usually finishing the last yard of the route right about then, mower loaded, one final blow-down of the driveway while the light goes orange. Between the first stop and that one there is a lot of ground: mowing, edging, trimming, hedges brought back into line, beds cleared of whatever the week put there. The work is repetitive on purpose, because a lawn only looks its best when nothing gets skipped. Driving home past a street you cut that morning is a decent way to end a day.
