About Barber Lawncare

By two o'clock on a July afternoon the thunderheads have stacked themselves up to the west, and half the neighborhood is watching the sky over the treeline. Barber Lawncare works with that clock in mind — cutting early, edging fast, finishing the trim work while the air still holds — because a summer storm can arrive and be gone inside an hour, leaving the grass steaming and twice as eager. Mowing, edging, string trimming and seasonal cleanups are the whole of it, done week after week through a summer that runs hot and green and long. Afterward there is that particular smell of cut grass and wet asphalt, the sweetest thing this town produces. A yard finished ahead of the rain is a small victory, and Barber Lawncare collects them all season.
