JL's Lawn Care Services

About JL's Lawn Care Services

The day starts before the heat does: trailer ramp down in the dark, dew heavy on everything, the first mower running as the sky goes gray over Kilgore. JL's Lawn Care Services runs the route that way — cut, edge, trim, blow, load, move, one yard folding into the next while the morning is still bearable. By the time the sun clears the pines the first several lawns are finished, striped and squared, walks bare. Clippings leave on the trailer instead of drifting into the street. The route covers Kilgore, Judson, Longview and the roads out toward Easton.
