Berryman Tree Service

About Berryman Tree Service

Kilgore keeps its derricks downtown, a steel grove standing where the East Texas field once crowded them onto a single acre, and the living grove is everywhere else — pines, red oaks and sweetgums pressing in on the brick streets. Berryman Tree Service takes down the ones that have to go, dropping them with the fence, the shed and the neighbor's hedge all accounted for. Trimming pulls branches back from rooflines and porch lights, and pruning keeps a young shade tree headed somewhere worth going. Ice one winter, a blowdown the next: when Gregg County weather scatters a yard, the work is not finished until the drive is open and the ground is level again. The red clay takes the tire tracks; the yard does not.
