About Stephen Prislovsky Landscapes & Lawns

Kerrville winter is mostly mild and occasionally not — the Bermuda goes wheat-gold, the live oaks hold their leaves, and now and then a freeze comes down off the plateau and settles in overnight. Stephen Prislovsky Landscapes & Lawns keeps working through it at a slower tempo: a cut when the grass asks for one, edges re-established while nothing is growing to blur them, beds cleared of the year's leftovers. Shrubs get shaped in the cold months, when their shape is easiest to read. Dormant is not the same as neglected, and a gold lawn with a clean edge still looks kept. Then February warms, and the yard is already ready to come back.
