About Alvarado Sod LLC

A pallet of fresh-cut sod carries its own weather — wet soil, cut green, the cool of the field it came from — and it lands in Kennedale yards while the morning is still soft. Alvarado Sod LLC installs turf across the sandy ground on Fort Worth's eastern edge, grading and leveling first, then setting each strip tight to the last until a bare lot goes green in a single afternoon. Bermuda takes the wide-open front yards that get sun from breakfast to supper; St. Augustine goes down where the shade sits deep and cool. By the time the late-spring rains come through, the seams have knitted and the lawn reads as one unbroken piece. Mowing and upkeep follow, so what was laid down keeps looking the way it did on the first day.
