About Perm-O-Green

Green is hard to hold through a North Texas August, when the sun over Keller climbs high by midmorning and the heat lingers well after dark. Perm-O-Green takes its name from that very ambition: lawns that stay green while the season does everything it can to brown them. The work is lawn care, steady attention to turf so it comes through the long, dry stretch full rather than patchy and thin. Down along Big Bear Creek the trees hold their shade, but out on open front yards the grass has only the care it gets. Then September brings the first real rain in weeks, and a Keller lawn that has been looked after answers with a deep green that looks as if it never struggled at all.
