The first honest front of October drops into Keller from the northwest, scrubs the sky, and suddenly a person can work all day without hunting shade. Down at Bear Creek Park the cedar elms start letting go and the creek runs cool under the footbridges, and up in the neighborhoods the grass slows to a crawl while the leaves pick up the slack.
