M&P Lawn Care

About M&P Lawn Care

By one o'clock in August the tall rice dryers over by the railroad throw almost no shadow at all, and Katy becomes a place you work in measured stretches — a lap of the yard, water, another lap. M&P Lawn Care keeps that rhythm: cutting at a height that lets the turf shade its own roots, trimming fence lines and mailbox posts, blowing the clippings off the drive so the concrete comes back pale and clean. Grass grows hard on this coast from May into September, and staying ahead of it is most of the job. The reward waits at the curb with the mower loaded, when the whole lot lies down in even bands and the heat feels like it bought something. Come October the pace eases, and the same yards get their leaves gathered and their borders tidied for the mild months.
