About Joshs Lawn and landscapes

November on the east side of Katy: the pecans and sycamores let go all at once and a lawn vanishes underneath them in about a week. Joshs Lawn and landscapes clears it — leaves gathered and hauled, beds cut back, the turf mowed down low enough to enter the mild dormant stretch clean. The rest of the year runs on mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup, with mulch, plantings and shrub trimming carrying the landscape side. Warm-season grass here barely sleeps, so the mower is out most months of the calendar. Raking down to bare green grass in the last good light of the year is its own reward.
