About Grow Roots

Out in the newer stretches north of town the trees are still young and staked, and everything depends on what is happening below the surface. Grow Roots works down there — aerating compacted clay, topdressing and feeding so turf sends roots down instead of sideways, and setting a watering rhythm that carries a lawn through a Katy August. The weekly side is mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup; the seasonal side is bed maintenance, mulch and shrub shaping. Grass that roots deep walks into the heat with something held in reserve. Give it a few seasons and the whole yard changes character.
