Friday Lawns

About Friday Lawns

The best hour of a Katy week is Friday at five, when the mowers finally quit and the whole street smells like cut grass. Friday Lawns aims at exactly that: yards finished before the weekend opens, so nobody spends Saturday behind a mower in ninety-degree damp. The route takes in mowing, edging, string trimming along fences and flower beds, walks and drives cleared of clippings, plus bed weeding and shrub trimming when they come due. Grass here grows almost year-round, so the schedule holds firm through the warm months and eases in winter without disappearing. Come home, push open the back door, and it is already done.
