About TJ Lawn & Tree

Cedar elm and pecan throw the good shade around Justin all summer, and then in November they throw the whole of it down at once. TJ Lawn & Tree works under that canopy year-round — mowing the dappled turf that grows unevenly beneath it, keeping shrubs and low limbs trimmed back off the roofline of the grass, then clearing the leaves before they mat and smother what is underneath. Shade lawns ask for a lighter touch and a bit of patience, and they repay both. By the time the last load of leaves is gone, the yard can breathe again and the winter light gets all the way to the ground. That first clean sweep after leaf drop is the best day of the season.
