Nighthawk Lawn & Landscape

About Nighthawk Lawn & Landscape

On a summer dusk the nighthawks come up over the Denton Creek bottom near Justin, wheeling and calling while the heat finally loosens its grip on the prairie. Nighthawk Lawn & Landscape works the good ends of the day, early and late, mowing and edging while the light is kind and the grass is not fighting for its life. The trimmer follows every fence and mailbox post, and the blower puts the clippings back where they do some good. Beds get cleaned out so the shrubs have room to be shrubs. Coming back to a yard that stands up straight in the cool of the evening is the part worth telling.
