Deep East Texas grass grows on rain and heat, both of which arrive generously, so the cut has to be regular or a yard turns into a hayfield. Edges along the drive and the walk get reopened every visit, because pine straw and running grass will close them over in a week. By the time the fog burns off, the yard is cut, trimmed and the drive cleared.
