JC'S lawn service

About JC'S lawn service

In April the dogwoods come out white along the back roads into Jacksonville, and about the same week every lawn in town decides it is done waiting. JC'S lawn service meets that first flush — the stretch where a yard can put on inches between visits and a missed week shows immediately. Mowing, trimming around mailboxes and porch steps, edging the walk, and blowing the drive clean is the whole rhythm, repeated until the grass finally slows in late fall. The neighborhoods here are full of deep front yards and shade trees, so the route is as much about knowing each property as it is about the equipment. Around Jacksonville, New Summerfield and Troup, the mark of a good day is a street where you can tell at a glance which houses were on the list.
