BENAVIDES LAWNS

About BENAVIDES LAWNS

The stone walls of the Tomato Bowl hold October evenings in Jacksonville, and the grass inside them says something true about this town: people here notice a field that has been kept. BENAVIDES LAWNS carries that same attention into the ordinary yards along the side streets — the mow, the edge, the trimmed line where St. Augustine meets concrete. The work runs on a rhythm, week after week through the long warm season, so nothing gets away and no yard has to be rescued later. When fall brings the sweetgum and the pine needles down, they get raked out of the beds and off the turf instead of left to mat over the grass. What remains after the truck pulls away is a yard that reads as looked-after from the road.
