About Irving Landscaping

The town took its name from a writer, which is a strange and lovely thing for a place laid out on open prairie between two forks of a river. Irving Landscaping tends the ground that came after — lawns where there was grassland, shade trees where there was sky, beds cut into clay that would rather grow nothing at all. The work runs the whole year: mowing and edging through the long green months, planting and mulching in the mild ones, cleanup when the leaves come down and the bermuda goes tawny and sleeps. Every yard in this city is a small argument with the prairie, and keeping one looking cared for is how the argument is won. The proof is a lot that looks intentional from the street, in February as much as in June.
