Beautiful Lawns

About Beautiful Lawns

There is an hour late in the day when the sun drops low and every blade of grass on a front lawn throws its own small shadow. That is when a lawn tells the truth about how it was cut: whether the lines run true, whether the trimmer followed the mailbox post and the porch step, whether anybody bothered to sweep the drive afterward. Beautiful Lawns works to the standard that hour sets around Irving, mowing at a height the fescue can carry through a long summer, keeping edges honest, and clearing clippings before the light goes. Grass runs fast and green between rains, so keeping up is half the job and making it look easy is the other half. A yard ought to greet the people who live behind it.
