About Engineering Support Services

Out past Inez the land is laid out in long straight lines — section roads, turnrows, fence wire pulled tight to the horizon — and a mowed lawn ought to match. Engineering Support Services mows, edges and trims yards across this corner of Victoria County, taking the same care with a property line that the fields take with theirs. Passes are planned so the stripes run true, the trimmer follows the curb without wandering, and the blower finishes at the curb line. Humidity builds all morning out here; the pace is read off the weather and set accordingly. The result is simple and exact: grass all one height, borders you could sight down, and nothing left behind but the smell of cut green.
