About Organic Matter Lawn Care, LLC

Everything above ground in Hurst is an argument about what lies below it, that North Texas clay which bakes hard in August and holds water like a bowl in May. Building soil is the slow answer: compost worked in, clippings returned, mulch kept on the beds, roots given somewhere to go before the heat arrives. On top of that runs the ordinary and necessary round of mowing at the right height, edging, string trimming, seasonal cleanup and leaf work through the short winter. Spring in Tarrant County comes all at once, storms and green together, and a lawn with real ground beneath it takes that surge instead of struggling through it. Grass fed from the dirt up does not need much convincing.
